GIVING YOUR ITEMS A LONGER LIFE

Most of us have items that we don't want or need anymore... but they don't deserve to go in the garbage.

That's where we can help.  We have a team of dedicated and creative people who can salvage, refinish or redirect your items from the landfill.  We always accept the following items:

  • Wood furniture

  • Latex paint

  • Fabric

  • Craft supplies

  • Tools

  • Glass, metal + ceramic containers

  • T-shirts

  • Clean plastic grocery bags (we will use these with wet paint brushes, so when we say clean, we mean it!)

We offer a pick-up service for those within the city of Anchorage. 

Pick-up Process:

  • Will your item(s) fit in a regular passenger vehicle?  This could be an end table, small desk, etc.  Email us and we'll schedule a time that works for both of us!

    • At this time we are only able to pick-up items that will fit in a regular vehicle. We are working on ways to accommodate larger salvage items. ​Thank you for your patience and understanding. 

*Drivers will not pickup items that are inside the house or require moving items over stairs, long distances, or obstacles.

Drop-off

  • Email us the information below before bringing your items in. 

  • If you are able to drop your items(s) off during store hours you will receive an in-store credit  (amount subject to item(s) dropped off). 

 

Not sure where to take your items? Email us and we will help find a solution to keep items out of the landfill!

Ready to schedule a pick-up?  Email us at salvage@furnishstudioandsalvage.com and make sure to include the following:

  1. Your name

  2. Phone number

  3. Pick-up address and info about the location

  4. Photos of the items 

  5. Measurements of items

  6. Dates and times that work best for you for a pick-up, noting one of the dates above for large items.
