Create your own Future- 2023 Vision Board Workshop

We have partnered up with Ellicia Turner to come and chat all about mindset going into 2023. 

Here is what she has to say about the workshop she will be leading: 

We have been taught to fear failure and avoid rejection at all costs. 

This makes the process of goal setting very daunting and difficult. Whenever we are setting our goals or resolutions from THIS paradigm, it becomes much easier to quit ahead of time, feel defeated, give up on ourselves (and our dreams) and lose all “momentum.”

 

 If we could decide on a different context from which to set goals, if we created a different mental and emotional paradigm to operate out of BEFORE we moved forward, not only would we be more likely to stay the course, but the journey would no longer feel as difficult, impossible, or intimidating.  It would actually feel FUN.  

The goal setting process is fundamentally flawed if any part of you believes “there” is somehow better than “here”— this is never true.

We want to disprove and correct this thought error thoroughly before we begin thinking about or setting our goals. 

Removing this one illusion first, weeds out inauthentic goals and superficial desires that aren’t aligned with you. It also makes way for the true purpose of goal setting to enter the picture-- growth and self mastery. 

These two things never have to feel daunting or intimidating, they are meant to feel rewarding and enjoyable.   

Your time is valuable, precious, and nonrenewable.

Your desires and goals are important. 

Valuing your time looks like recalibrating your mindset and emotional energy BEFORE you set off into taking action.

-A 2023 vision board designed and created by you  

The workshop will provide snacks, tea, and water, and all vision boarding materials.   All you have to bring is something to take notes with and any specific photos or images you want to add to make your vision board more personal to what you want. (we will have plenty of magazines for you to use as well)
