Furniture Painting 102 - Basic Finishing Techniques
Time & Location
About the Event
Did you take Furniture Painting 101 and now you can't stop painting furniture?! We know how that feels. In this class, you will learn some of the basic techniques that are one step beyond just using General Finishes and/or Dixie Bell paint.
Both Dixie Bell and General Finishes offer a wide range of products that help you take your furniture to the next level and they are SO EASY to use - so let's practice a bunch of them! We'll go over glazes, metallics, gel stains and sea salt texture! We will provide the pieces of furniture for you to practice on. This will ensure that we have prepared the best pieces and have plenty of time for each student to be able to practice each technique. After the class, you will leave the furniture at Anchorage re:MADE, OR you can purchase it later from the store if you love it!
(Do you have a piece at home you want to paint and know exactly how you want to refinish it?! This instructor offers private sessions to help you achieve your desired look. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more on how that works!)
Although this class is a "102" class, there is no experience needed! You do not have to have taken Furniture Painting 101 to take this class. The products are so easy to use, you'll have fun even if you've never painted before!
This class costs $45, which includes all supplies needed. Class size is limited so please sign up early! Registration for this class closes on April 23rd at 6pm. Masks are required.
